The dragon boats are arriving June 3 for the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival

The Media is invited as the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival ventures to Mooney’s Bay on Monday, June 3 (Mooney’s Bay marina gravel lot off of the South side of Hog’s Back Road) to welcome the return of the dragon boats to the Nation's Capital! Arriving from the shores of Toronto, the dragon boats reach Ottawa’s waters just in time to give teams the opportunity of learning how to train their dragon (boat) before the start of the multi-day Festival on June 21-23. The boats present an excellent photo and video opportunity, especially the decorative dragon head that rests on the bow of the boat.
