Team registration fees help cover the costs of renting dragon boats, equipment, judges' tents, race course, practices, officials, medals and trophies.

The festival provides a hydration station, which allows people to re-fill personal water bottles; to-date 29,827 plastic bottles diverted from local landfills.

The festival community has over 5,000 Paddlers, 75,000 Attendees, 2 dozen vendors, over 2 kilometers of fencing, and even its own power grid!.
