Practices are held at the Rideau Canoe Club (RCC) and teams may send practice requests as of January 15th. Two free practices are included in registration and extra practices may be booked at an additional cost. To book practices please contact the RCC's Dragon Boat Coordinator, Scott, at dragon@rideaucanoeclub.ca.
Teams based in the west end of the city may schedule practices at the Ottawa River Canoe Club (ORCC) in Dunrobin. Please contact Anita at dragonboat@orcc.ca to book.
All equipment will be provided including boats, pfds, and paddles. Participants are welcome to wear their own pfds during practices and festival weekend (please note that self-inflating pfds are not permitted).
