The National Band of the Naval Reserve, one of Canada’s premier military bands, is setting course for the 2026 Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival Presented by Scotiabank!

Formed from talented Navy Reserve musicians from communities across the country, the band brings together some of the finest musical performers in the Canadian Armed Forces. Their 2026 national tour includes stops in Yellowknife, Québec City, Montréal, Calgary, Edmonton, and now Ottawa.

Fresh from entertaining crowds at the Calgary Stampede, where their performances of popular music became a favourite gathering spot on the fairgrounds, the National Band of the Naval Reserve will bring their unique blend of musical excellence and Canadian pride to Paddlers Paradise on Saturday, June 20 at 3:00 PM.

Festival-goers can enjoy an afternoon program featuring both classical and popular music, showcasing the versatility and professionalism that have made the band a standout ambassador for Canada’s Navy Reserve.

The performance will culminate in a special rendition of O Canada at 4:00 PM, officially kicking off the Festival’s Award Ceremony and celebrating the achievements of teams from across the country and around the world.
