The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival is excited to announce that Royal Oak Pubs will be featuring a new limited time only, dragon-inspired menu from May 9th through June 26th! A portion of the proceeds from this delicious menu will go towards the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation which supports the Youth Services Bureau, Tim Horton Children’s Foundation and numerous other local charities through its community fund.
“Royal Oak Pubs have come up with a selection of wildly tempting menu options that are tasty, fun, AND philanthropic. A fantastic combination!” said Festival and Foundation CEO John Brooman.
Fiery Dragon Burger: An all-beef burger stuffed with flaming nacho cheddar,topped with Applewood smoked bacon and covered in Sriracha Mayo and Extreme Doritos for that extra crunch.
Spicy Dragon Sandwich: A tequila-marinated, dry-rubbed chicken breast topped with cheddar, a stuffed jalapeno popper and guacamole.
Angry Dragon Sliders: Three Dragon beef sliders with Applewood smoked bacon, grilled pineapple and a piping hot cream cheese jalapeno popper.
In addition the Festival and Foundation are pleased to announce that Waterloo Brewing Co. are offering their own contribution to the menu. Dragon’s Paddle Dark Lager is a refreshing dark lager brewed with caramel malts, a lightly roasted nose and smooth finish.
