The dragon boats are arriving for the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival
The Media is invited as the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival ventures to Mooney’s Bay on Wednesday, May 31 (Mooney’s Bay marina gravel lot off of the South side of Hog’s Back Road) to welcome the annual return of the dragon boats. Arriving all the way from the shores of Toronto, the dragon boats reach Ottawa’s waters just in time to give teams the opportunity of learning how to train their dragon (boat) before the start of the Four-day Festival on June 22. The boats present an excellent photo and video opportunity, especially the decorative dragon head that rests on the bow of the boat.
