CoBlou Scavanger Hunt

All festival long, you will get the chance to find one-of-a-kind art offerings on the festival site at Mooney's Bay Park! The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival has partnered with local francophone multi-disciplinary artist CoBlou to encourage you to explore the natural setting of the festival site. This interactive experience is designed to encourage you to spend time outside while exercising the mindful act of observing your surroundings. The bonus is that you have a chance to find art made by CoBlou as an offering to take home! New pieces of art will be hidden throughout the festival grounds! Follow along on the festivals social media to find hints on where to go... Or you might just stumble upon it while visiting Mooneys Bay Beach! The offerings are first come first serve and we encourage you to share your findings with us using #cobloudragon .

Corinne Blouin (also known as CoBlou) is a francophone multi-disciplinary artist based in Ottawa. She questions the intricate relationships between human emotion and the energetic body in order to create a deeper understanding of her personal narratives and inner worlds. She explores the subtle worlds of dream states, physical/emotional transformation and organic states of being to create other-wordly paintings, illustrations, murals and installations. Transforming these abstract states into material form allows them to take on new shapes through the unique perspectives of those interacting with her works. She also loves encouraging others to foster their relationships with creative energy through various community-involved projects.
