Each year it takes hundreds of volunteers in various positions to make the festival the success that is it. Please use the below list of those areas and descriptions of what each position entails to help you choose the volunteer area that is best for you.
Alternates
Alternates are positions that are essential to the Festival. They are there to cover any shortages in a variety of other areas or to catch anything that might have been missed. (read more)
Beer Delivery
Help unload kegs off the beer truck and onto the site.
Bike Parking
Our bike valet service is a great eco-friendly way of encouraging visitors to arrive to the festival by bike. Our bike valet service keeps the site organization and keeps pedestrian traffic flowing. (read more)
Children’s Area
The Children's area is an excellent volunteer opportunity for those who have interest in working with youth. There are many fun and interactive activities for children and performances from different groups. (read more)
Dock Security
Dock Security volunteers are there to ensure the inventory of our paddling gear, the safety of our paddlers and to alert our security team should their involvement be required.
Docks
The docks area is one of the busiest and most important areas on site where volunteers will be interacting with all of our paddler teams. (read more)
Green Team
Volunteers working in this area will help keep the Festival clean and administer the recycling / composting program. This is a great position for those who are environmentally conscience and want to help our Festival stay green. (read more)
Hillside Bar Cashier & Crew
The Hillside Bar is one of the busiest areas on site, where patrons purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. (read more)
Hospitality Crew
The Hospitality Crew assists with the set-up and maintenance of festival hospitality areas prior to, during and after the event. (read more)
Merch Tent
Volunteers will work wtih band representatives to sell band merchandise in an area close to the concert stage. (read more)
Paddler's Paradise Cashier & Crew
Paddler's Paradise is of the busiest areas on site, where patrons purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. (read more)
Set-Up Crew
Site operations volunteers help implement the logistics of the site. The event requires a large amount of set up, preparation, deliveries and managing resources to make it a success. (read more)
Silent Auction
Volunteers will create displays for items and accept bids for them. This fun position has a great amount of interaction between volunteers and the public. (read more)

VIP & Festival Kitchen
We are happy to provide all our volunteers with food. The kitchen crew will look after preparing and/or cooking the food and distributing it to the volunteers. (read more)
VIP
VIP patrons enjoy private access to seating, bar service and food provided by the VIP host/hostess. Volunteers will greet guests, confirm they have VIP passes and assist them with requested food and beverages. (read more)
Volunteer Village
Volunteer Village is considered the headquarters for all Festival volunteers. Volunteers will assist with sign in, lost and found and answering general inquiries. (read more)
Welcoming Crew (Parking)
The Welcoming Crew provides the first impression for our Festival. Not only is this role key to the flow and organization of the incoming spectators and teams but you are also one of the first people that visitors will ask questions to. (read more)
