Today the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival announced a spectacular line-up of family entertainment as part of their twenty-second annual festival.

North America’s largest Dragon Boat Festival will take place at beautiful Mooney’s Bay Park on the Rideau River, June 25 - 28, 2015. Organizers are very excited about the excellent children’s entertainment line-up that has been arraigned for this year.

The Children’s Area plays host to a wide assortment of music, science, puppets, games, animals and magic. There are interactive presentations and performances from the Chris Clark Bicycle Stunt Show where Chris speaks with the audience about harnessing their potential while performing breathtaking stunts. Favourites Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo, Radical Science, The Great Balanzo of Acme Circus, and Lil John the Clown will all be performing. “We have so many free, fun and fantastic things for children and family’s to enjoy over the four day event” said Antony Cooper the festival artistic director. “It’s going to be really exciting!”

The family fun continues with activities including a 27’ inflatable slide, an obstacle course, and a Smurf Bouncer. The ever popular bubbles bouncy castle will be there, as well as Magician Michael Bourada, a Birds of Prey Flight Show by Canadian Raptor Conservancy, and the Paddling Puppeteers who will tell the story of the First Nation’s history on beautiful Ottawa River.

“We are thrilled to present such a diverse group of quality performers”, said John Brooman, Festival CEO. “We couldn’t do this without the continuing support from our generous sponsors, various granting bodies and community organizations. We hope families join us for all the fun!”
